What a comeback by Sheffield United! After being down two goals at the break (Abraham – 19′, 43′), the Blades came out firing in the second half, managing to get on the scoreline in the first minute of the second half through the right foot of Robinson (46′).
While the visitors continued to threaten at times, Chelsea wrestled back control of the match with over 60 per cent possession in the final 45 minutes.
The Blues’ will rue the missed chances by Abraham (55′) and Mount (87′) with the latter happening just a couple of minutes before the Sheffield United equalizer.
Chelsea will have surely expected three points today, but were unable to see the match out and will have to settle for just one.
